5770 Caps - Page 7

@ Martkilu -

1. I recommend the MSI PG1 5770... I added a few caps to the 1x in my sons rig...its happily running 1105mhz core and 1360mhz mem @ 1.337v on water for daily use. [Mem can go higher with slower core speed ]

2. the MCW60 will mount to the 5770 without the mounting bracket...just bolting the block straight to the core [must be done with empty loop].

Hmm I'm getting my 5770 back from RMA soon (details below) and selling my 5770 FC block (not necessary and want one that will work for many cards).

First 5770 I killed, RMA, came back dead, RMA, killed again, RMA, killed again, RMA <--- Right here atm

MCW60 looks really nice since it can work on lots of blocks.. do want.

Nice clocks I must try for this. Today is a rainy day aka a day for soldering I'm going to finish my 8800GTS, 8800GTX, 8600GT mods today most likely. I also want to mod a new 7300GS (got for free because it had 4 blown 16v caps).

Did you decide which caps you are going to run for the input? Core? It seemed like there was some confusion.
