Your IMC looks high, if you can lower it, that could help some with heat.

I'll give that a try. Would you have any suggestions settings-wise though for pushing to 4.2? I'm gonna try again tomorrow while Ive got time. Ill post up the template if I get anywhere with it. Thanks for your help!

edit: Do you know the default voltage for the IMC?

I beleave off the top of my head its 1.2v In most cases you will not need over 1.3v. I'm at 1.2455v 1530MHz with timings 7, 7, 7, 24

You might want to give this overclocking guide a try, it a really good way of finding out what is holding you back.
http://www.techreaction.net/2010/09/...-buyers-guide/

Here is a list for BSOD codes, most are the same for 1156.

What is the CPU PLL meant to be like on this board? I've left everything on auto but its reading at 1.8v? Is that a bit too high for this board, especially seeing that My over clock is no where as 4.0GHz?

Is it because I've left the other settings on auto (or the turbo option on one of the choices) that it has gone this high?

What is the average voltage for the DRAM voltage to be at? When i leave it on Auto it sets the DRAM voltage to 1.65v. However i was reading that the IMC voltage should not be more than 0.5v difference than the DRAM voltage.

With the IMC on my board currently standing at 1.12 volts should i increase this or decrease the DRAM volts level?

EDIT:
