GTA 4 benefits from 4 cores. It's what the game depends on to run fast even if your GPU is fast. And that's why I have to turn down my settings -__-

If I remember correctly, Supreme Commander can only use additional cores for driver support. I vaguely remember reading that it also only uses those additional cores for driver support if SLI or Crossfire is being used, so I don't think a single card setup can use more than 2 cores. If anyone knows for sure or remembers, please feel free to correct me.

You can download a program that makes SupCom utilize all four cores (Core Maximizer).
