DXG vs. SLI mod(bridgeless) on my Ultra-D.

Hi,
i was wondering if it's even worthwhile to commit a mod to my NF4 Ultra-D mobo to run two identical cards in bridgeless SLI mod rather then just use
the DXG mod with the older drivers that do not check the eligibility of the chipset to run SLI(requirement set by Nvidia in order to prevent manipulating the Non-SLI Ultra chipset based mobos to be adjusted to run SLI).
The only benifit i see is the ability of using the new drivers, is it worth it assuming i'll use it with two 6600 vanilla or a vanilla and a GT?, or am i better off with older drivers anyway?.
My mobo is revision AD0(I'm not sure whether it's a zero or an 'o'), Is it even proved to be modable?.

Well, assuming you're able to do the Ultra chipset mod, you probably would want to go ahead with that. It's not hard to do, and if you did it successfully, you'd get about a 15-20% increase in performance over DXG....However, finding older drivers on the web is getting more difficult.

guru3d still have a lot of older drivers up for download.

EDIT: And yes, you can mod your Rev AD0 to SLI-D
