Need help locating compatable MB

Thread Starter
I am wanting to upgrade my MB but keep and use the parts i have now (CPU, RAM, Ect) Currently, i have the FG965M peicer(the acer e700). The BIOS are locked and unable to find a way to unlock so i want to upgrade the MB. My budget max is $150. Here are my important parts:

Q6600 CPU (Have no clue what socket it is)
DDR2 Memory (3GB)

MB options i would like are at least 3 PCI-e slots, 2 video card slots PCI-e (if not in price range i'll settle for a single slot)

Must be DirectX11 comp, overclockable, be awesome, dont care for OB sound (i have a sound card)

Im also not sure if the MB i buy will fit in the case i have now so i may need to get another case.

Here is my current setup as i type:
Q6600 Intel Quad @ 2.4
3GB Ram DDR2
X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT Video Card OC'd to 603Mhz(core) (SLI Comp)
Crappy MB FG965M
NetGear PCI-e wireless adapter
2 3spd case fans, CPU heatsink cooler.

As you can see i have some potential here and i cant speed anything up w/o a better MB. Any sugg?

Thanks.

Only has 2 PCI-E slots. And that there arnt special slots for video cards. Only regular old PCI-E. And any motherboard will support DirectX11, you just need the right video card, and game. Not every game supports DX11, only very few. Your card cannot do DX11, you need an ATI 5xxx series, or wait until march 2nd for the new nvidia directx11 cards. Nvidia currently does not have directx11 support.

I like the DFI LANPARTY UT X48-T2R. I think i'll buy it. Not bad for the price. I see it has 3 video card slots, now i if i go out an purchase a second 8600 GT that is sli compatible, i would be able to link them right?
No you won't those link's which are posted are for crossfire mobo's for sli you will need an Nvidia mobo.... And if i were you i would be buying EP45-Ud3P and would have kept the Video card and later when i would be having spare cash would have bought a hd5770 or Hd5850 good Vfm Don't buy Nvidia mobo they run very hot and don't overclock very well...only the high end one's 780i/790i are able to overclock to good speeds but they are very costly
