As u all know i'm kinda a newb at knowing all the functions of my computer. I was wondering, is there an option for setting the fans rpm speed? Like can i make my stock fan run faster? Its running at 3300RPMs right now, is there like a settings or a program i can download to make my Cpu's Fan run faster?

No, SpeedFan controls your fan speed. It tells you the basic info. about your system. Temp., voltage (some don't trust it... I don't usually read it, so.. ), etc. The Fan HAS TO BE hooked up to the motherboard.

You CANNOT make your fan run faster than the max speed.

If the max speed (100%) is 3300RPM, then that's the most it will go.

BTW, welcome.

@Andrew: SpeedFan will not make the fan go faster. It WILL let you make the fan go slower.

If u set the fans in that program to a 100% then your fans are running at their max. Btw zippnogg he asked first if there was a way to contol his fan speeds --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It should be running at max speed, so you can't make it go at 150% or something, you'll need a new fan
