another ram question...
if i wanted to lower my timings should i lower them like this:
i have gotten them to 8-8-8-23 no problem before but i want to experiment now. what would be the ideal timings?
Is your ram 1T or 2T?
This should be manually set.
run ram @ 1.65v @ 9-9-9-24 (1or 2T) and keep raising dram freq from 1600 till error occurs.
Lets say you got as high as 1800MHz@ 9-9-9-24(X)
run everest memory benchmark and note speeds of read write copy & lat.
run ram @ 1.65v @ 8-8-8-23 with as high of a freq as you can get with those timings.
run everest & compare speeds.
I wouldnt go over 1,65 for fear of cpu damage
