yea.

Its at Stock speeds. 2.4ghz. i had it up at 2.64 i think, with no vcore changes. And my games would crash, not windows nor the pc. It would boot fine. I did try 2.7ghz on stock vcore but it didnt boot properly. My agp/pci ports are locked at 33/66.

thanks

stock speed and unstable is possible, just a rare occurance. i thought you said your proc was overclocked to 2.6.... stock 3800+ are at 2.4....whats the deal-y-yoooooo.

Let me know what you think might be the problem.

Thanks
If your system only crashes after you are at 2.6 on stock volts then I think you need more juice.

nonon, lol. i HAD it at 2.6ghz and my games kept crashing, im now at 2.4ghz (stock) and the games are fine. So, i donno, i was thinking somehow the agp slot was being oc'd therefor ruining my videocard and crashing my games.

Thanks

i don't know if those ASrock boards need to be locked down, but usually if you crash like that, up the voltage a tad and see what it does. if it don't fix your problem, then well.........

Im just wondering what people have seen for speeds for an Overclock 3800+ Newcastle. I can get it to boot to windows at 2.74ghz x 12 vcore 1.55 but not stable. Also is there anything i should try to get it stable? I was aimming for 2.8ghz, but i dont think that will happen.

Thanks
