Those with a really sharp eye, can you guess what is missing on the motherboard?

I'd like to join. My 5770s are the first Sapphire products I've ever bought and I must say I like their Golden member feature and the freebies they're handing out every once in a while.

Nice cable management!
But, is you x-fi touching the 5770? Why is it leaning like that?

Those of you who have changed the stock TIM on your cards (especially the 5770): Have you seen a noticeable drop in temps? I seem to idle much higher than other people, and I was wondering if replacing the stock TIM with some MX-2 or even AS5 would drop the temps (probably would use my MX-2; I've got enough ).

Yeah that photo was took befor i put the case clips in to hold the cards at the back of the case so its all good. No more than a 4-5mm gap between back of one card and front of the other!!!

Yes!!! Moving to MX-3 for me, made the top card drop from 34/35C to 29/30C bottom from 29C to 26C i my room is around 25C at a guess so good temps.

Yes I know cable management, but I'm too old and lazy for that.

And welcome, new members of the club!

Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X (TechPowerUp.com Feb. 3, 2010)

Last year AMD released their new Radeon HD 5800 Series of graphics cards which quickly became a big success due to the numerous improvements made over previous generations. Over the course of the last months AMD has been adding more cards to their DirectX 11 lineup quickly, most recently the Radeon HD 5670.
AMD's Radeon HD 5770 has been out for several months as we are seeing the first customized designs now. Sapphire has chosen to stick with the proven AMD PCB design and added their custom Vapor-X cooling solution. Unfortunately the clock speeds have remained the same as on the reference design: 850 / 1200. Considering that all other overclocked version from other AIBs (that I have seen to far) go to like 875 / 1250, there is not much difference anyway.
Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X can be found online for around $175, which is $20 more than the reference design from AMD.

Source

Good review, better cat. 9.12s drivers being used. Good to see the 5770 now even and besting the 4870. Good overclocking, taking out the mighty stock 4890.
