Sli??

Thread Starter
I have a 460 watt thermaltake pure power right now but iam going to send it back because i just bought my new rig and i will be OCing and running SLI and possibly watercooling (and the fan makes a really loud buzzing noise). So iam going to need a good SLI psu but i have no clue where to begin looking and i figured you guys could point me into the right direction. PS i have around $100 or so to spend.

Look for the Sunbeam Nuuo PSUs. The 550w is around that price range and is SLI certified. I'm not sure about the 450w. Both are modular so you can keep your rig looking neat.

Some more from newegg. I would stick to the ones that are SLI certified on that list.

I had a Sunbeam Nuuo 450w in my old rig, and have orderd the 550w for my next. I love them. The cable sleeving looks very sharp, and they are easy to work with.

You can't really go wrong with any of them, as long as they are SLI certified. If you really want to be sure you have a quality PSU go with the Sunbeam Nuuo 550.

Well what is the difference between the two that i link in my previous post? And 550 watts is going to be enough for 2 7800gts, watercooling, Ocing and a fan hear and there.

Yes it should be fine. The only differenece is one is black and one is silver. You can denote this at the end of the model number SV and BK.

Yes, 550w should be fine. As Chim3ra said, the only diferance is the front pannel color is black on one and silver on the other. Just get the one that matches your case.
