AGP cards have been on the way out for the last year because PCI-E has proved to be better due to increased bandwidths.
Instead of looking for a new AGP card, I think you'd be better off replacing your motherboard (one with a PCI-E slot) for about $100. and using the remaining $175. for a good PCI-E video card (such as a 6600GT, X800GTO or even a 6800).
If that isn't an option for you I think you could pick up an older ATI 9800Pro (AGP) for about $150. or less.
Try Newegg.com for quick pricing. Good luck.

If your down with agp 'till the bitter end [Like me! ] get any one of the x800 series. An X800 or x850 pending your budget should be awesome

No dont pay 150 for a 9800 You do know they make 6600gts 6800gts x800s and x850s agp? And you can get a 6600gt for around 100 if you dont mind forsale section/ebay.

How can I check if I have a PCI Express-slot on my motherboard then? I have a AGP card right now tho... Or you can't have both AGP and PCI-e ?

You wont have a PCI-Express slot if you have an AGP slot.

The only times this happens is very expensive mobo's that i havent been able to find.

I thought the GTO only came in PCIe form. As for good AGP cards, get a 6600GT off of Newegg for $130.

The GTO comes in both PCI-E and AGP, but the GTO2 only comes in PCI-E. I would get the 6800GS AGP if I were you. IMO, switching to PCI-E will only cause a slight increase in performance because not all cards will be able to use all the bandwidth of PCI-E...if any at this time.
