Need to get my timings lower - Page 2

but why am i blue screening with 2.5, 4, 4, 8 timings @ 2.6v ?
Doesnt make since to me.
Also My motherboard has a wierd way of adjusting the CPU voltage. It doesnt have.

1.550
ect.

It has ( something like this )

2.6v thats where you are going wrong .You need to up the voltage for your ram in the bios .try setting it@ 2.8v and boot .I would say this is the only problem holding you back

i tried 2.8 and that didnt help the blue screens.

Have you tried using a divider to lower the timmings then get to the o/c you wanted then tighten up the timmings

That shouldnt cause bluescreening. I just want it stable enough so that i can post. Then i will tweak it. I shouldnt have to use a divider for my system, not IMO.

Make sure that this is definitely the Ram is unstable by using a divider. If you don't get anymore blue screens then try changing the other timings, if you can. Noticed off your first post that trc is at 12 clocks. If you have the option, loosen these and any others off until you stop blue screening.

So if you clear cmos and try to boot up without going into the bios, it doesn't boot up? That means your system wasn't stable to begin with...
Unplug computer from wall, take cmos battery out for at least 15min - 1 hour, clear cmos, then run memtest 86+.
