Turns out it was my 5770? I guess I somehow messed it up. I calmly explained what all I did to Sapphire tech support and they are going to RMA it (even though I changed the TIM, cooler, and soldered on some caps).

Hey, I'm having the same exact problem with my 4890 and 790FX-GD70. I was just wondering if the GPU replacement actually worked... trying to find out what's causing this 2E problem before I start mailing components everywhere.

Thanks.
