Sexy 7800 GT CO Overclock ?

490/1250

Im using a Artic Cooling Slientium T2 case and air cooling. Stock cooling on the GT. I've ran a few CSS Benchmarks and Artifact Tester 5 3 or more times and havent seen any or experienced any problems yet.

its idleing right now at 40c and after a CSS stress test it was at 55-56 and quickly dropped back down to mid 40's.

That is higher than a stock 7800GTX! Infact that core ties the highest factory overclocked 7800GTX and that memory ties the second highest factory overclocked 7800GTX (talking about the XFX7800GTX and Leadtek MyVIVO Extreme 7800GTX models respectively). Oh, and I meant 256MB 7800GTXes lol.

Everything is still running good, just ran a test of 3DMark05. I also ran a css stress test - 1280 x 1024, 2xQ/16X, Reflect all, High settings, 4x ingame - 178.12 fps

update: just bumped it to 500/1260 and ran the artifact tester again and it came up zero.

Yea im not complaining . Ares545 if your gettin a 7800 GT from eVGA get the 7800 GT CO model N517, there is a 7800 GT CO SE but i personal like the 517 model. My 7800 GT CO is the 517, and well, you see the clocks. Newegg has em for $312.00, last time i looked they were currently out.

When I did my optimal settings it gave me 501/1600, my 3d Mark was 7900 something, but i think with your CPU it helps the GPU more than my 3700+, thus the higher scores, I know I got a good chip in mine, Mines running a little hotter but not terribly high
