I really would like to start folding but i'm going to need some help and some info first, lol. I somewhat understand what is going on but idk the details nor how to do a lot of it. I haven't OC'd my CPU yet so all i'm running is a 3.2gHz intel i5 650. It is liquid cooled (Puget Hydro CL1) and I also have a EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX275 896mb but that only has the stock fan that comes attached to it. My case cooling should be solid in my HAF 922 (1 200mm intake fan in the front, 1 200mm exhaust fan on top, and 1 120mm fan attached to the radiator. I do live on the East Coast and I do have Skype. I'm available just about everyday except I work till 9:30pm on tuesdays and thursdays and i party at night during the weekend (I'm in college, i'm allowed, haha).

I have decided to try out folding for the first time. I have already installed the GPU client per the Windows 7 GPU guide and it is currently running, but I am unable to sign up for the Chimp Challenge due to not having an OCN folding user name.

You know how you entered OCNChimpin as your username in the GPU client? You can change that to whatever you want; there's no need to register a name with Stanford.

So if you wish, change your folding name to BlkDrgn28 and fold for the next 2 weeks under that (join the April Foldathon too, if you wish). And you cna sign up for the CC under that name. The you all get a PM before the CC to remind you to switch your client names over.

Or, just enter OCNChimpin as the name you plan to fold under.

My system is yours to fold on, as long as you're willing to Team-View the setup.

Ive tried it before and I kept getting it wrong, but if you're successful you have an E3110 and 2x 8800GTX's folding for the chimp! (And i'll put a bit of an OC onto the E3110 too, 3GHz to 3.6GHz)

Either some time soon (next 2 hours) or it will be ~14hrs before im back on again.

You know, I made the guides as easy as possible to use. If you're having difficulties, I could help you through them. ou have no idea how much simpler it might be in the future when you want to change things yourself.
