I work from home and live 70mi from the nearest walmart, supermarket, mall. So, yea I guess i do have alot of time for good causes especially.

You should have seen the long list of pos names. Back to the name, I like Mhz Masters and as far as corny goes its hard not to have a team name thats corny until you win?

Perhaps everyone will chime in on this today and we can work on settings, troubles, etc... I have a couple probs with folding related issues that I could use a hand with?

Thanks for touch'n base...

On My 2.4 Dell I seem to be having an issue with the power features in XP?

I set them to always on, Monitor 20min, hard disc never, & System stanby never. The last time I looked my settigs were at (portable laptop, 20min-20min 20min) I need to find out why these settings are changing obviously.

Next, on my 3.4 I have not been receiving the 450 point WU since the first time I added the flags to the target Box. However, I have changed settings to gain better frame rates and wonder if those flags are leave alone and let them run settigs or can we ramp things up once we get the 450pt wu? I was able to run at a 44s/frame after ramping up a bit?

You may want to post the XP power settings in the Windows section if you haven't already. I usually keep my HD settings at 15-20 minutes and monitor in the 20-30 minut range with standby on never. I haven't seen the settings change on their own, but if the settings persist, I suggest seeking help from the Windows gurus.

Assignment of WUs is out of our control. The best we can do is set all of the most favorable settings and hope for the best. Just keep -forceasm, -advmethods, and >5 MB transfers on, and you've done all you can. Even if you don't get the QMDs, you'll definitely see a performance increase in your folding.

Good Deal,
and thanks for the support.

I will post in the Windows thread if I don't find the problem.

I may post it after I fix it because I have not seen it and I have every OS MS ever made up to 2003 office so we will see? Thanks again

Thats Plinko - Oknilp><Plinko If you prefer

Anyways, I do have all the time in the world on my hands. I'd like to say that it was by design, but the fact is I'm a 100% disabled, a veteran. I go to the V.A. hospital alot and that gives me an excuse to get off my mountain. I like to think I took a very early retirement. HeHE

How about you, student, work, married? I guess I should check my team mates profiles? But personal things don't mean alot to me. We all must live life on our own terms when it comes down to it.
