Hey Gill,

The 2.0 Startup Program is a cheat sheet of sorts. Lets see? Use the following link and download (Startup Control Panel v2.8), I use it daily to help me out quickly.
<http://www.mlin.net/> Just go to software section.

I looked into the memory vs. Folding/Gaming- Many folders/Gamers have to use one or the other to operate stablely. I tested my 3.4 and some games were difficult to run needing several program starts before stable play was acheived.
good luck with it, let me know if I can help ya....If I can I will...

I was looking for potential performance gains and noticed that I have not been given any

folds in the 2352-2380 series Wu's? How do we get these? They are interesting...Credits are 2nd from last on the list below...

Anyone have any ideas or ran any of these?

Taken from the listing at the (fah@home/stats/program summary/current running projects)

Excuse the way my page turned out please...

I tested (hijack this) and i don't recommend it unless you really want to take the time to learn it.

If you have a router/firewall and all your MS windows or other OS are updated regular with a spybot protector you should be good to go. What are the programs you have in your startup now?.........

Make sure to to check your security settings in your firewall, you dont want to leave ports open. So do a scan and if you must learn Hijack this send me screen shot and I will look. I took it out cause I prefer more user friendly software these days.

Been in and out today good to hear that things are running again,
Oknilp.

Your MSN draws considerably, especially if messenger is auto on maxed out in the startup sitt'n there constantly using bytes and not providing any return? I use MSN & Yahoo messenger, but I go thru the painstaking rigors of running them from program files. This way my gain is that I use either Yahoo - Msn Messengers or there services as needed only. More overall MHZ allocation for needed resources. (FOLDING) and More for GAMES while running FAH@Home.

The Sound, programs you can manually access if needed. My cmedia, SB24-bit work fine on demand, just take them out of you startup list and experiment you can always set the questionable start program back to AUTO.

You phone program is a chioce. look into its settings and/or preferences folders and see if it can work in the background, only using resources when in operation. You never know what little customizations the Author added.

Now on a different note I had another neurologically induced headache due to a very severe neck and back injury and have been having a tough go of it the last few days. (I was hit by a semi-tractor trailer rig and need a scarry surgery in the spinal canal} I never know when of course the headaches curse me so I will make sure my 2 pc's are on cruise control unless I'm sitting at them. The surgery will be after Feburary.

Just didn't want y'all wondering where's Oknilp? Since I have so much time on my hands...hehe

Thanks for your support. Like everything else in life you push through it until you get through it. Some things are just less pleasant than others. Thank GOD for the V.A. Hospital and my Patient, loyal and very understanding wife Judy Ann. It's the people around you that help the most.

Thanks Gill,
Oknilp.
