Thanks for the tips on this I will give it a try. I still have a few days before the folding team contest begins so maybe I can get back to where the trouble began and resolve any security issues etc...
Thanks again,
Oknilp.

Hey, guys. We need to finalize our team. Wowza and I both have three CPUs we can contribute to the team. Oknipl and gill, how many do you guys have? If it's more than one each, please post what the rigs are, so we can pick the best ones for the team. Thanks!

First of all you should both be aware that I allocated a 2.4 northwood and a 3.4 prescott? With that said If wowsa has a machine that folds better than a 2.4 northwood (basically stock) then by al means, drop my 2.4. However, I will be faced with the task of running one of my folding machines without getting credit on my current user name at FAH? I don't really want to do this unless there is a decent offset between my 2.4 and what I assume is wowsa's #3 machine?

Hope you realized and remembered that I had originally set up 2 machines for our Team? Anyways its not such a big deal except I am at Team position 121 and while my 3.4 was down for 2 days I lost 3 spots from 118. The competition has risen dramatically as the position number drops. I don't like to move backward boys?

So, figure it ouy and either way theres no problem if it's for the Team effort I'm in. My current WU's are as follows:

3.4 CPU
Client #1481 (126.006 Atoms)
364 Points

2.4 CPU
Client #770
41 Points

Good luck gentlemen are contributions make a real difference and having alittle fun while were at it never hurt. Have a great day.
Oknilp.

Still running 2 cpus under "Oknilp" for, (overclock.net 37726) #1 @ 3.4 (stock) can easily run @ 3.8 24/7 if needed? #2 @ 2.4 (stock) these 2 machines have been steady and dependable folding rigs thus far. I really want to hear from someone on this issue because I was of the understanding when we first set up the team that (Taeric 3 cpu, wowsa 2 cpu, Oknilp 2cpu, Gill 1 cpu ?) As you can see if we are running too many CPU's then we must make corrections .

My 2.4 is not as good as the 3.4 so if wowsa has a faster folder than a 2.4 northwood then I can set up a second OC.NET 27736 FAH account and run the 2.4 along with 2 other machines i've been throwing together to make designated folding rigs with them.

Thanks, and I Hope to hear back from one of you soon,
Oknilp.

well i just thought if u r real serious about winning this thing then ill stay out and oknilp can use his 2 CPUs. because i dont run mine 24/7 and i usually hav to stop it while playing games, and i always play them(cause im 15 )so ill go out and there wont b any probs with oknilps folding record thing.

gill signing out.

p.s i still gonna fold for o/c.net just not MHz masters cause u will b a better team without me.

We're actually counting on you for one CPU, so we'd appreciate it if you'd stay on our team.

The participation is more important than the level of contribution. I'm currently only running two copies, so there's still a space open for you.

Yup, my avatar is a shot of my pup when she was about four months old. There are some links provided in the dogforum.org thread in the Off Topic forum, and there are several pictures posted at www.dogforum.org under my user name.

I sure hope everyone was clear on my comments concerning our CPU allocations.

Yes I would like to run 2 because thats what I allocate daily before the new teams formed.

However if we are in this thing to win then we should put in the first string line up? If we are doing this to participate in a good cause then the experience value for the less experienced folders is paramount to winning.

Therefore I propose that we look at all the factors from all Mhz Masters members and make decisions based on our team goals.

Gill, you are part of our team and there are some decisions you must decide for yourself, I don't in anyway want you to feel like because you may not complete as many work units as others that your not contributing. Your Pc if set up correctly while you are at school and overnight could easily produce as many wu's as my 2.4 northwood running 24/7 so please don't feel like you wouldn't produce enough. It sounds like with a little help from all of us we can dial your time management in when your not using your PC it can be set to fold very well?

I am very flexable on these things and I think its good for us to all post on this thread several times a week so we are all on the same page in real time or close to it.

Now on a lighter note: Taeric PLEASE change your avatar back to you cute dog or other? The head and shoulders thing is creepy and alarming? Just mess'n with ya,

I should be around most of the day so lets get together and make some final decisions. This months contest is 3 days old...

sorry but i wouldnt be able to fold all the time through school mabye twice a week and folding overnight would make it hard to get to sleep(stock fan is dam loud especially through summer)so with that in mind i guess it's up to taeric to decide or watever cause if u r real serious about winning then i should leave
