A little video I made, I think it works much better than tightening the screws after the fan is on.

I just attached them when I tried that fan on my rig, no problem what so ever so this is not really necessary.
Also the fans are so useless since they give away to much noise, even on low RPM.

Meh, DDR2 is still fine up to 90c without a fan. For DDR2 I'd say above 2.3v a fan would be a nice.
