Don't forget to force cs:s to run directx 8.1 instead of 9. On my old fx5200 I got a steady 60 fps running dx8.1 and 4-9fps in dx9. Right click source in your MYGAMES list and select properties/launch options, then type
-dxlevel 81
should then run source just fine. Good luck with your overclock.

Oh and with my card I ran 300/420 from 250/333 after I added a fan. My card was running hot at stock speeds passive so be careful.

Yeah i had it in mind...
I know that the FX card are crappy preformers in DX9...
Actually i can also configure it through the console, or in the config file...
It's r_dxlevel in the console BTW, and you have to enter the number in two figures without a period, for example 90 for DirectX 9, and 81 for DirectX 8.1.
