1Gb is not enough for high texture settings. you'll stutter like a mofo no matter what the rest of your system is like.

The 6800s dont give you Insane settings. Where the heck do the $800 OCed 7800 GTX's in SLI come in? And i dont get mid settings with my 5700 U.

His approach was bad. I have insane+high+insane. I have to aggree i don't think a 6800 is insane, or good enough for all out max settings.

Definitely not true. The system in my profile ran BF2 on high settings 1024x768 and 1280x1024, no stuttering whatsoever. But at 512MB, there was stuttering.

When i see the proc, i dont really see where it goes from there.. like, the diffrence between a 2600+ barton and a 2800+ barton is like... 100mhz or something.. And imo, that isnt really a big leap to say 'med settings and high'
