Miscolored video

Ok well some video's I d/l'ed are well, discolored. But the older ones I have arnt. I was using DivX and they were discolored, played it in Winamp it was fine. Then I tried to play the next one and it was miscolored, checked the last one I had just watched and now it was miscolored in Winamp also. The format is AVI and im just really confused though as to why the heck its doing this..

Edit: OMG MY COMPUTER IS POSSESSED.. Now in DivX they are fine O_O.. (***)

Edit2: Ok wow this is really weird.. If I try to open the video in Div X its miscolored, leaving Div X open and opening it with Winamp makes it the right color in winamp.. Now if I stop it in winamp, close DivX and re-open it in DivX its fine in Div X. Something similar was happening with my mic yesterday to, it wouldnt let me talk unless I opened up the voice tester in windows, and if I closed it my mic stopped working.. Gah.. Such weird problems.

The coloring on some AVI's on my machine is messed up unless I turn off hardware acceleration in the "Advanced -> Troubleshooting" section of display properties. It could just be a codec problem. Another option would be to download vlc from www.videolan.org.

My friend was having this problem too and an update to the latest forceware drivers fixed it. Are they discolored on other computers? If it's just yours then, well, you know it's a problem with your PC and not the videos.

Well its weird, if I have Winamp AND DivX open they work.. Like if I have Div X open, then open Winamp and start it in Div X it wont work right, but it will in Winamp. If I open Winamp then Div X then it wont work right in Winamp but it will in Div X. I dunno, just kinda a inconvience but I think I have it figured out.. Troublesome.
