Guess I'll chime in here for what it is worth and I am glad to see Ultra is realizing he comes off a bit harsh at times
I'd hate to see ya chase yourself in circles with this Krow. I am running pretty much an identical rig atm with the same overclock for all intents and purposes so I can at least give you base line temps for water so you will have something to compare to.
First you need to stop running that block uninsulated immediately
. There are places it is going to condensate and moisture will
get into the socket.
That being said you must take into the account that the temp sensors on thuban's are all wrong as far as reading from the most recent forms of temperature monitoring software(s). Best you can do is get a ballpark from coretemp and add 8-10C to the displayed result.
Here is a LinX run I did on my rig for comparison. Bear in mind there are two highly overclocked ATI 5870's in the loop plumbed in parallel (This will make my temps hotter). The loop has 2x Danger Den DD-CPX-Pro 12V Pump in series, 2x Koolance Radiator, 3x120mm, Copper Hort. (the ones that are designed for low speed fans) 6x Ultra Kaze 3000rpm fans at 5v in push, Koolance CPU 360 Block and 2x Koolance 5870 full cover blocks. I went for low noise in this build and it is VERY quiet.
Ambient was around 25c.
