ddr2 prices are skyrocketing compared to what they were here 4months ago, this same gskill 2x2gb ddr21066 kit i bought for my backup right is now $97 free shipping, when i bought this exact kit 4months back i got it for $49 free shipping. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-166-_-Product
you can now get a gskill 2x2gb ddr31600 kit for $104 free shipping, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-193-_-Product
when you look at it this way you can get a 4gig kit of ddr31600 for less than another $10 bill when compared to the ddr21066, where as this time last year the price difference would have been more like $150-200 (with a nice 4gb ddr2 kit costing around $50 and a nice 4gb ddr3 kit costing about $150 to $200
it won't be long before ddr3 is actually "cheaper" than ddr2Edited by zepidus - 1/18/10 at 8:24am
