My First Build. (Need help).

As the title says it this is my first build and I'm unsure of the compatibility of the components and it's a budgeted build. The budget is 400€. I'd like to use it for gaming ..so give me your opinion/recommendation on it and let me know if something isn't right with the build.


CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E7500 2,93GHz, 775 - 103,02 €

This build: 399,14€

Here's what I would do:

- Swap the E7500 for an E6300, nearly as good and almost half the price.
- Swap the P5QL-VM for a Gigabyte EP45 UD3LR, much much better board.
- Swap the GT220 for a HD4770, still low power usage but a lot faster then the GT220.
- Swap the Barracuda HDD for a Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB.

And you'll end up at roughly the same price. That's what I would do anyway

and the psu might not be good quality since it comes with the case - but if the case is a good brand; the psu it comes with is generally alright

I agree with all of this. Personally I'd stick with the GT220, but that's just personal preference.
