Welcome to the forums.

If you're not going to overclock at this time, you can pretty much leave your BIOS settings alone. Everything should auto-detect and be set appropriately. If you notice any instabilities at stock speeds, it would be worthwhile to revisit that advice. For example, I had an issue with my mobo and RAM not communicating properly, and I had to set the RAM timings manually even at stock speeds. That's fairly unusual, and you'll almost certainly be good to go right out of the box.

I would suggest reading the Intel overclocking guide that's linked in my signature. Even if you're not going to OC now, it's some good food for thought for the future. Also, please enter your system specs in your User CP; links are in my signature for that as well. That will place your specs at the bottom of every post you make, which will make it a lot easier for folks to give you a hand (without you having to go through the effort of writing out your specs all the time).

The only thing you may have to do initially is to set the cd drive as the first boot device
