Yes, the card will avoid damage by underclocking itself during low power or if it gets too hot. Raise the memory as far as possible before instability.

Okay.. It began to jump forward in the graphic (the "furcube" in AtiTool) at 480MHz.. so I put it down a little.. 5MHz to be exact But it works good, even tho I would like to see some better results on 3DMark05, if some dude said that he got 5-6000 with a X700Pro, that didn't sound right. /M

Yes, in 05.. and YES, indeed very strange. Extreme overclock ^^ I think his name was Pink Floyd with a lot of special signs and stuff. Not to point anyone out but, hrm.

Since it's DDR, some specs show it as 500, and some show it as 1000. Nvidia peeps use the doubled number a lot.
