also, remember to keep your AGP/PCI locked to 66.66/33.33 respectively. Use clockgen to see if there locked!

ok i set it to 197mhz and when i play a game my pc restarts. is it because my cpu is too hot? (using stock amd 2500+ fan) or because it needs more power? Vcore: 1.70V

hey, download Asus Probe for your mother board. Install it, and once in, click on History, under monitoring. Then click record, and play a game. If it locks up or freezes on you, after restart, open asus probe and go under history and see the max temp it reached. anything over 60 IMO is too hot, and as it stand now with my 2500+ @ 2420 has never gotten over 45*C(My arctic silver finally settled )

ok i took out the ddr333 and ran my pc at 197mhz, started my pc-35C,ran pc probe,started recording the temps, launched a game, loaded, and then my pc suddenly RESTARTS, loads windows again, ran pc probe, looked at the last record and see that the cpu was at 41C and mb at 26C.

now what?

my first guess would be the power supply, but a 450w should keep you straight. knowing about your Psu, I must now guess your voltage to the chip isnt high enough.

hmmm what should i set it to? so i pump vcore up yeh? and if i set it too high im afraid ill have to say good bye to my motherboard, so whats a safe voltage to set it to?
