GPU cooler can't installed in Laptops.
How can software have a real-life effect like removing heat? You can increase fan speed that will reduce GPU temp. That's about it.

There isn't much more to suggest.

What model of case, I mean. So I can see how good it's airflow is. Intakes/exhausts/fans?

And I wasn't trying to be a massive dick, but each of your posts so far sounds like begging, except you can replace "can I have money" to "can I have help". Anyway, don't be sensitive, it was only light hearted

i have one more question
i hv a ASUS M4A78-EM motherboard
and it has 512 mb onboard graphics
the motherboard is a hybrid crossfirex one

Get a grip of yourself man.

30C is hot for room ambient. I don't think there's any other problems than just your cooling. What sort of case do you have, specifically? At 30C you're going to need some decent airflow, and perhaps even an aftermarket cooler on your GPU if you are having overheat issues.

Open up the case and stick a house fan blowing into it, see if that helps

My Galaxy GTS250 is 64C idle in an AC'ed room. 97-100C when playing Crysis and 90's when playing SC2 beta. =(

I agree with the OP. 100c+ is really the only time to be overly concerned. I had a GTS 250 a while back. It's fan died while it was folding. I get home and check the temp to see it had been folding at 118c!! Still going strong too lol. Needless to say, It was RMA'd. But still I'm surprised it survived

Thank you for this guide/FAQ.
I was getting a bit concerned about my GeForce 9800 GTX+ reaching the 70s while running a game (AC1).
For some reason it stays at ~50 idle :|

My question is if I replaced the 2 case fans (Came with case, Cooler Master) with Yate Loons, would that make a huge enough impact?
I'm trying to come up with methods that are cost effective towards cooling my GPU/Overall computer.

Wow. 68 posts, and all anyone has to say is 'I think' or 'I agree with X' or 'I disagree with Y.' What happened to Overclock.net's absolute dedication to disseminating only the most accurate information? Did someone actually suggest that your card won't be damaged if it has to execute its thermal disable trip? Or that you should use your finger to test for overheating? Or eggs? Really?

Now I don't know the answer, but you all claim that you do. Either show us your original research or tell us where your information came from. In either case,
