just remove the "removable panel" at the rear and the card should sit properly, i don't mind with those gaps... more dust of cuz, and for the fan part, some1 have mention it that u need to force-screw to make new threads. my previous cpu was more ghetto than yours

Oh it's not biggie, I ran my e6300 for a couple months without thermal paste and I never had any issues, that C2D line is just pure awesomeness!

My very first build went flawlessly, as well. That's why I felt so stupid when this all happened.
This godawful setup thankfully only ran for a day before I modded my old case for the PSU.
Man, I still laugh when I see that picture.
