Bioshock 2 Information, Discussion and Media Thread

Game Information:

Quote:
Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. Players step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as they travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and their own survival.

Multiplayer in BioShock 2 will provide a rich prequel experience that expands the origins of the BioShock fiction. Set during the fall of Rapture, players assume the role of a Plasmid test subject for Sinclair Solutions, a premier provider of Plasmids and Tonics in the underwater city of Rapture that was first explored in the original BioShock. Players will need to use all the elements of the BioShock toolset to survive, as the full depth of the BioShock experience is refined and transformed into a unique multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture.

Same here.
I just haven't gotten the energy to finish the first.
In fact, I don't know if I still have the saved games anymore, considering how many times I've switched hard drive setups.

Heh, I've lost my Bioshock saves so many times.

When my SSD arrives soon, hoping tomorrow, I will be installing Bioshock on it and I have made sure this time I have saved my entire Documents folder which all my saves.

Very glad Bioshock 2 is going to use GFWL even though many hate it, I find it quite nice and it will take care of my saves.

i just hope that the plasmids are more critical to the combat of the game this time around. I realized about 3/4 of the way through thte game I really wasn't using many of the "active" plasmids in combat; just shooting and swinging my wrench. I started another play through and tried using them more, but still more lead was flying rather then eve energy.

I'll probably still get this close to release though.

Same here only it happened on my PS3. :T I'm in the process of beating the game again.

As much as I love this game, my only complaint was the repetitive fighting and knowing what to expect every new level I went into. Gets boring and annoying! after awhile fighting the same (slightly stronger) creatures in the game as you progress.

Anyways I'm anticipating the release of this game! The Splicers look f'ed up!
