get the big typhoon. there is no comparison IMO. i wouldnt have bought any other one. its massive, but its so quiet that you dont know its on. my little compusa 80mm fans are much louder then this thing.

Can't believe no one added the Thermalright XP120 with a 12cm Panaflo.... Prolly the best cooling you can get!

Where have you been? The big typhoon owns the XP120 as far as noise-to-performance ratio. That's last years news.

Riiiighhhht.... Owns???? The TT is a good cooler, yes, but it in no way owns XP120. Every test I've seen puts either one ahead of the other, but there' no clear winner...

However, I base my decsision on real world, real people results, not something I see on a site that take payment for advertising....

You didn't fully read what I said. It owns as far as noise to performance ratio. I won't deny that the XP120 cools better but the big typhoon cools almost as well, but with a small fraction of the noise.
