I need to get a new amd soc. 939 mb and a processor and i have around $250-265 to get both of the stuff.. what do u guys recommend..

Well considering your budget I think you may be a liitle low.

An AMD 64 3700+ San Diego will cost you around the USD$220. You can go a little cheaper with the Venice but only has the 512MB L2 cache.

As for the motherboard some good non SLi ones can be had for around the USD$70-90.
