Ok im buying a New 920 from our new micro center we have.
they have a Huge amount of them like 50+. So what do i look for on the box?
What numbers EXCT.

They say they think there all DO but not 100% sure.
there $219 right now.

So Please someone let me know. I want a Good one.

Oh good question, im nto entirely sure, but unless they bought some old stock, then they should Certainly be D0

Generally Intel does not hold old stock, only resellers hold old stock, so unless Microcenter bought from a desperate reseller, then they are almost guaronteed to be D0 =)

I still do not understand how Micro center always so cheap.

Edit: I even looked, my cost for the item is 280 -.-

just make sure it is a slbej and you are good to go. 3939B215 is a pretty decent new batch. You want to make sure the one you get has a B which means it is a B batch.

I have an "A" batch i7 920.
I run it 24/7 @ 4GHZ 1.192v load , 1.184v idle, vcore
Prime small fft & linX stable.

So...its a luck of the draw on getting a good chip.

Edit> Call MC get the batch # if they will give it to you.
Sometimes if not busy they will do this.
