all a divider is, is a ratio between ram speed and cpu speed. if your fsb is 300 and your ram is running at 200 then you have a 3:2 divider. that is unless i am mistaken.

That is kind of a trick question of thing
Actually most systems can run 1040 just fine and can even hit 1080
It just seems to confuse people so I alwasy use the base 1000MHz referance because the mathimatical relation is easy to see
Thanks for the plug tucan

I can't find the memory divider anywhere. The closest thing I see something called dram which can be set to 115, 153, 191, and 230.

Well if my htt is at 200 I can set it to 166 but then it raises when I up the htt. Isn't there something to keep from doing that?

Sorry for the double post. I got 250/10 for 2.5ghz, vcore is it 1.5 and divider is at 166. Memory timings are at default and htt is at 4. I would have set it to 260 but then I wouldn't be able to set the divider to 166 and it isn't stable at if I leave it. Anyone have suggestions?

Set the HT (LDT) multiplyer to 3x.
Have you upped the RAM voltage or vdimm to 2.8v? That should be safe and help the RAM run a bit faster!
