thanks wowza, i looked at my computer store to see prices for a new mobo, and it looks good. i should be able to get my new mobo in 2 or 3 weeks. i'll probably go for Abit. you're sure it is a goob company for mobo ?(i guess it is, since you suggested it )


comparing the performance of the asus and abit, is it almost the same, or abit is a lot better?


p.s. man i love this forum, you can have every answer you need simply by asking. i learned a lot coming here. thanks a lot guys, and continue the good work.

after a little research, i decided not to go with the Abit board. it seems the high price is not really worth it compared to other s775 mobo.


wowza suggested this asus board


what do you all think i should go for, i play lots of pc games and i like to run it a max quality

asus are allmost allways a good deal, they may not allways oc the highest but they will last forever allmost and arent for the most part real finicky

how do you tune the OS? i only scored 5970 in 3dmark05 but i think mine is capable of more..please let me know how you do this

Ummm, I don't know what you guys can buy over inb canada, but they had and have had WAYYY faster cpus than 3.2ghz for a while intel had a like 3.6 or 3.8 and amd had the fx-57.

i bought intel because i've been away from computer for a while and always trusted intel. i made poor choices and now i'm paying the price.

Not a year ago they didn't. 3.4 and FX-53 were the fastest things around then.
