P4 2.4 GHz Northwood OC to 3.11 GHz. Help please, want to OC more.

Okay here is the deal I just got this together lastnight.

Board is: Asus P4p800se
Cooling: BigWater Thermaltake
Ram: 2x512 Hyper-X
Harddrive: Raptor SATA
Ect....

The problem is: I can overclock it to 3.11Ghz in the bios using the OC tool that Asus has in the bios but, when I change the settings to manual I can only get about 3.0Ghz. The tool within the bios states it overclocked 30%. I want more then 3.11. Does anyone know about this board and how I can change things manually to get more? I have the AGP/PCI Locked at 66/33 and have been able to post with the FSB at about 175. So if anyone could help me really push the hell out of this cobo that would be great.

The onlyone of these that is stable is 3.11

thats about the max you are gonna get. i could only get 3.0 out of my 2.0 with pretty much the same exact board as you. if youre looking to bump the fsb manually, just click the manual option under AI overclock.

now, you need to make sure that you have enough voltage and that your settings are stuck on auto. this will kill it. up your vcore, you can hit up to 1.7 and if youre still good on temps, 1.71 wont kill you. just make sure that you dont set it to 1.7 in the bios, because it will add more then just that. you want to set it to about 1.65. also, up the Vdimm for your ram to about 2.65. change the frequency at which it runs if you can, dont leave it at auto. also, make the ram timings as loose as you possibly can. i can do 3 4 4 8 as the loosest on mine. maybe your cpu just doesnt have anymore left in it?
