XP for 3dmark06

7 for vantage

not sure about the rest but XP should be good. 7 should also work.

vista is okay... but it's basically a slowed down version of 7

Since "all 4" includes Vantage the answer is obviously Windows 7. 3dmark06 and previous versions score higher on XP though.

Windows Vista is still best for AMD, perhaps for Intel also.

Using n-lite for xp & v-lite for vista to strip down a benching OS is also very helpful, haven't tried 7 too much, my v-lited vista x64 gave me better vantage scores. 3dmark 03 is a tricky one, pre-200 series sometimes gives me better scores in xp 32bit, but with newer cards usually vista is better.
3d05 & 06 xp all the way.

all 4? There are 5 3dmarks. 01,03,05,06,vantage.
vista would be the best for 03-vantage and XP for 01 since 01 sucks on everything else.

Well you would have to use Vista or Windows 7 because those are the only two operating systems that can run Vantage because they support DX10.
