^I'd hit up the power supply section and read through all the threads titled: "On _______ *insert psu name brand". They're all very educational and will go you a good idea of what brand you want to go with from a price/quality standpoint.

I probably could have done it with the ASUS board, I never actually tried for 4.4ghz.
40x (20x in MSI land) is the next thing I'm going to try. Unfortunately, those previously posted settings hard locked after about 14 hours. This is the same problem I had with the ASUS board before they came out with a BIOS update. I can give it all the VTT voltage in the world, but it'll never be truly stable, it'll only delay the hard lock (or in the case of the ASUS board the 124 BSOD) longer.
I just tried upping the VTT one more notch to 1.351 and gflops dropped into the dirt. Looks like 1.335 is the most it wants, so it's time to try other things. I'll give the 40x a try now and see what happens. At least I know it was happy at that multiplier before... although it didn't like >8000 QPI, so we'll see how it handles that.Edited by AyeYo - 6/10/10 at 4:39am
