Hi everybody, I have very few questions about my 4.4Ghz OC on the i3 530 CPU.
Until today I have been able to work @ 4.4Ghz with 1.344v - running prime95 6h, Linx Calculations, IBT and ouf course, gaming. But I have one very important issue, I can´t cold boot with these settings, I need to go back at 4Ghz, enter BIOS, then load OC profile from BIOS to 4.4, restart and that´s it, I´m at 4.4ghz again.
Today I went to check on my MOBO wich voltage would it need to post and went up to 1.392v wich bump CPU temps up to 81°C calculating LINX 3 loops (I had been in the 60-73°C range with my last voltage)
So my question would be, is it safe work with 1.392v (at least it boots at first try if I ever forgot to underclock to 4Ghz) or I better work at 1.344 always doing it???
Thank you very much for your help.
If you do a lot of rebooting per day/week, I'd stick with 1.344; but I am no expert, by any stretch..
