Nice setup. How do you like that MSI? I almost bought one the other day...
I got 3.8ghz on stock vcore, 4.0ghz takes 1.192v, and 4.2 I couldn't stabilize due to QPI issues and IMC voltage restictions. However, I'll be attempting it again with a multiplier bump (21x to 22x) and hopefully I that'll get me the 4.2ghz with only more vcore needed.
QPI on Clarkdale is simply the connection between the cores and the memory controller. It's sort of like FSB was on C2D. Not to be confused with QPI on a Bloomfield, which is the connection between the cores and the X58 chipset.
with every thing stock i get ~80fps in far cry2 now @ very high.
and how did u get a 3.8 on stock voltage and 4.0 on 1.192 ??
i was googling and an i3 overclocked to 4.0 always had ~1.3v vcore.
Did u change the multipliers ?
give me these values so that i can utilise my hyper 212+
and any other if required-
