Yay - overclocking eMachines (a little)

Thread Starter
lol i juss wanted to say that i have over clocked my emachines 1.5 GHz, 1495.5 MHz originally on cpu-z, up to 1497.5 MHz!! lol i dont know if this counts as an over clock but after days and days of just fooling around with some stuff to see a number change was a big deal for me lol... i really can't wait for my new comp parts to get here so i can see a signidicant change in speed but i will still probly require a lot of help. thanks to all the guys who post stuff on this forum it really helps out this is like the best forum ever!!!

you can try a program called "cpu cool" which might get you to 1.6 but i wouldnt expect much out of an old emachines. I did get my mom's HP from 2.6 to 3.0 on stock everything...using that program
