....sorry this took awhile , but had to do the ol' uninstall of all the nVidia driver's and then changeover and then install of ATI's driver's....somehow>>>somewhere along the line the install of ATI's driver's were corrupted er' whatever and had to go thru all the crap of uninstalling all of ATI's driver's...[ as well as doing the DriverSweeper in the SAFEMode thing].....then i messed up an also uninstalled the chipset driver's so have to re-install those back in, too.....[goodthing i have the Original Gigabyte mthrbrd disc ]......man-O-man what i screw'd up bigtime...LOLOL..... even then after all the reinstalling and all the ATI display driver's were just seem'd funny to me so i uninstalled those new "beta's" and just installed driver's that were a few version's of earlier........then installed the AOD and after the reboot of that install double click'd the shortcut of the AOD and get "AOD failed to Start" message........won't start at all.......That's where this episode stand's till i hear anything from you tomorrow. . . . . .again, sorry it took so long.......but i guess we'll get in touch about's this more . . . .

No chip in the board yet, as I sold my old 965BE. I'm waiting for the triple cores to hit. Then I'm going to see how hard they can be pushed.

Looks good enough for Me. Now I'm off in search of a lower woltage, 1.49v doesn't sit right with Me.

**edit** Testing begins at 1.45v, booted into 7 fine time to stress it out some. I'm hoping to get back to stock volts or as close to as possible.

**Edit 2** Already seeing 61C across all cores running P95 Small FFTs, only been testing 3 minutes.

I just set my set-up to match yours, and I'm at 51c across the board, according to Core Temp. running prime 95 for about 2 minutes.

Btw, I'm using EasyTune6

Edit*
Sorry, been running Prime95 for about 8 hours now, forgot to turn it of when I bumped the fsb from 200-205 and the v from 1.425 to 1.450.

But I'm watercooled. to the max...

But I'm watercooled. to the max...

I've had P95 running now for 30 mins, I'm just touching 63c @1.44v(ambient temp of about 28C). I guess it's not bad for air cooling. I was hoping to get closer to 4.00Ghz before seeing these temps but I'll take what I can get at these early stages.

I'm fairly new to AMD/Quad systems so I'm just taking it a step at a time.
I have a funny feeling I may have made the classic mistake of using too much TIM, I applied using the X method about 6-10mm long thin lines.

Feel free to post up any pictures of the board or your systems. I'm still very much in the process of re-detailing my Deep Noir case. When I'm finished I'll post an update to my build. Still deciding on a more permanent home for Pale Blue Dot, I'm thinking a Corsair 800-D or one of the Lian Li offerings, of course being a case modder it will not stay stock for long.

*EDIT* No problems, I do all my clocking in the BIOS. I havent gotten the hang of easy tune yet.
After seeing you had your chip at 1.425 SantaClaw, I'm now wondering if I can't back down one more click to 1.425v.

I've updated your revision.

I've dropped my vcore back to 1.425v, multi and FSB remain the same. 1 hour stress test of small FFT's incoming.

@1.44v

Back to benching. Might hit the magical 4.0 gigglehertz after all.

Validated at 1.425v BIOS/1.408v CPU-Z.

Try 210 x 18.5 @1.45v, mine seems to like more FSB than multi.

Also, 30mins prime stable at 205x18.5@1.408v/1.425v in BIOS.

I seem to be stable at 1.408v. Going for stock woltage now.

Stock woltage @ 18.5 x 205
