Answer : Dear Customer

The F3d been tested with the 1055T and 1035T X6 processor, please update it first if you wish to use the processor.

Question - 906189

Question : To my understanding the new BIOS F3D that was released 4/02/2010 that is a beta version will suport the new Phenom II X6 CPU. Can you confirm or deny this?
Dont think I want to order from Fry's.... wonder if AMD will come out with a Black eddition or a 3.4 GHz of the x6? Does any one know of the X6 is a "Black" CPU?

On that CPU i have over clocked 1.5 vcore stable with a multiplier of 20.

Yes, your voltage is too high.

It appears that our board supports only two of the new x6 CPU's. Of course we know the beta bios is out.

Does this board do better with a high multiplier and lower Clock or higher clock and lower multiplier?

is there any other voltage's that should be adjusted when working on a OC other then the CPU? It looks like the MB will self adjust the voltage for the OC I have, it yells at me saying the voltage is not optimized. right now I am at 3.7 GHz but would like to see if i can push the 4.0 GHz for a stable 24/7 platform.

This board will handle high HT Clocks no problem, but it doesn't really matter what you use.

And yes, you'll need to adjust the CPU-NB VID (voltage) if your NB Clock increases.

I've had to increase the Voltage on some RAM from 1.65v to 1.7v as well, but that's on a limited number of sticks.

I'm thinking of purchasing this board, what I was wondering is how well to they overclock the NB.
Because I have the UD4 already and that cant even cold boot 2.4 GHz on the NB, it made me a bit weary of this line of mobo's.
