eg Multi = 16.5, HT ref clock = 215, voltage set to auto, C & Q off, Turbo Boost on.

Under Idle CPU freq ranges from 1.4 - 2.5, voltage sits on 1.3, Multi ranges from 7.5 - 9.0
Under Load CPU freq = 3.4, Voltage = 1.475, Multi = 16

Now I would think that the Bios would set the default CPU frequency to 3.4 and then boost to 3.8 when required but noooooo! the frequency, voltage and multiplier are all over the place.

I haven't tried turning the turbo boost off yet will try and see what I get. But so far I am so tempted to scrap this MB after only having it for 2 months.

Is anyone else having the same sort of problems?
dude turn off turbo it raises your voltage to boost it and the default voltage is the turbo voltage when turn off cool and quiet so it raises the voltage way to high set like that. its beta bios man, i had to turn my voltage down to make it stable. 1.475 is not the true default voltage it is like 1.325 im the 1st to use the chip on this board here back track my comments
they may help

. . . . just a note: remember back when the 965 C3's came out, they would have "buggy" issue's (bad enough
was even with AOD...) till a Newer Bios came out which fixed this and AOD ran fine, ( this new BIOS of F3Fbeta ).
Somehow, i think your going to be in need of a Newer BIOS/Update just for these NEW CPU's; [ & now i am
referring to the AOD software for in need of this NEWer update of, too ] . . . . Maybe i'm wrong even, But this is
WHY i am going to Wait & See how thing's go for these NEW cpu's. >>> Congrat's <<< for you for
being one of the FIRST Few to have this CPU; and i know the feeling's for you having these issue's. But, I will
keep tab's on this for here and else-where, & hope thing's work out eventually for you and your setup.....

Captain & Mr Charlie..thanks for the up on the OC. Have re-adjusted to the following

boost off, C&Q off, multi =18.5, FSB = 215, VID = 1.4 and Core Speed = 3.9, cool and steady. Have run p95 4 30 mins and OK, but will run over night to be sure. Will then try for 4.0 and up tomorrow.

Flux can you add ranger1 to the list thanks mate!

Has anyone tried to OC the FSB past 260 on this board with a 1090t? I am trying to get 1:1 FSB to Dram ratio but can only get as close as 1:2. Not being able to get past 260 is holding me back.
