Bro I've never really looked into what the difference between the two is, I honestly don't know myself. But I know that is the one to adjust and I'm sure everyone else agrees.

Guys, it was definitely the CPU/NB voltage that I was trying to adjust. Either my board sucks or my overclocking skills aren't so hot anymore. I'd go with the latter.

Don't give up bro, there's always hope. I did 4GHz on that board and same CPU in a breeze, didn't keep it there because of temps though.

What are your last stable settings?

¿? How strange... Why did you lower it? 2600 was not 100% stable?

BTW, I have the x6 but I couldn´t mount it yet, I can´t find my Tuniq TX-2, so I had to order another one . Will be arriving this weekend if I get lucky...

Kindest Regards to everyone

HellO...

Just Updating News...

Tomorrow I´ll be mounting my 1090 (the TX3 has just arrived), but five minutes ago I flashed F3i in order to "embrace" my new Thuban

First toughts of F3i:

GREAT => Now I can run my Ripwajs at rated CL7, before I could only boot at CL8. They are 7-8-7, I´ve tried 7-7-7 but "no go", inmediate BSOD

NOT SO GREAT => When saving cmos changes, instead of normal rebooting, it shuts down and after half sec it turns on again, I don´t like this method so much...

STRANGE => After 3 or 4 restarts, I got a message saying "updating backup bios to latest version" with a kind of progress bar. It restarted at 60%, started again from 60, restarted at 70, started again and restarted at 80, and so on till reaching 100%, but didn´t get any message of "done" or "success" or anything like that. Really odd for me, it´s the first time I saw this...

Kind Regards to everyone!

guess if it's working fine I wouldn't' worry. So looks like the latest BIOS has better memory performance/compatibility heh?

Hi folks.

1st day with 1090, can´t seem to hit 4Ghz stable . I´ve tried till 1.45 with no luck, prime95 stable but bsod if a try to do anything alse while it´s running. What vcore voltage are you using at that frec???

Another doubt is which cpu temp is correct under HWMonitor, with the 965 "core temp" and "Cpu socket temp" where almost identical (1 o 2 degrees), now with this cpu they differ 10º .

Thanks!!!
Thuban's have Temp Sensors that are borked. You'll need to use a program like Core Temp to set the offset to 13*C

If not go with the CPU Socket Temp and add 3-4*C to it and you should have an accurate reading of what your Core Temp's are.
