(OK)TEMP 1: 43c/U] (OK)
TEMP 2: 55c (WARNING)
TEMP 3: 52c (WARNING)
HD 1: 40c (OK)
HD 2: 34c (OK)
CORE: 53c (WARNING
any help would be apresiated and please excuse my spelling lol
i dont know what temp 1,2 and 3 is and when i say warning i mean the little fire symbol beside the temperature
my specs are
AMD PHENOM II X4 995BE(NEWER)
9600GT GREEN EDITION
STOCK COOLER WITH HEAT PIPES
LARGE CASE WITH 4 FANS AND A PCI EXHAUST
CORSAIR GS800 POWER SUPPLY
I WHOULD JUST LIKE TO KNOW WHAT SORT OF TEMPS EVERYONE ELSE IS GETTING AND I THINK I SHOULD SAY THESE TEMPS ARE WITH THE CPU FAN DOWN LOW AND ALSO I COULD BE DOING WITH SOME thermal compound as the stuff that came on the cooler is in need of replacement but i have some artic cooling silver 5 on its way so please ignore the cpu temp if it is high its because i have my fan turned down because it is late at night and i am only downloading torrents rite now
I have a HTPC setup and are focused on SPL rather than clocl speed, so I keep my enclosure quiet and cool.
Running SpeedFan 4.47 for temps
AMD PHENOM II X4 945 (low wattage - 90W if I remember right)
Gigabyte Geforce GTX560 OC (extremely quiet card due to the dual oversized fans http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?e=893586
At normal web browsing with ambient temp about 21-22c>
GPU = 36c
CPU core (K10) = 32c
Temp1 = MoBo = 37c
Temp2 = CPU socket = 38c
Temp3 = ?? NorthBridge?? = 44c
Good airflow = intake in cool area - blow out closest to hottest component (CPU or GPU) with one big fan rather than 2 small - blowing out at top ist better than at bottom (heat rises) - place hot componetns high up in the cabinet (ie graphic card in top PCI slots - going directly in the air flow if possible)
Good contact between cooler and cpu? Adequate amount of paste? Evenly distributed before applying pressure?
Can you change the speed of your fans? If not ->>>
0. Not ALL fan controllers allow control and some only allow control for certain fan types.
Read MoBo-manual for info
To get speed fan working for fan control you normally have to:
1. Disable fan control in BIOS
2. Disable any fan control programs that you have installed (like with mobo or gpu)
3. Setup speedfan - start by checking that you fans can be controlled.
See more how to setup here (not logicaly placed so u might have missed it)
Speed fan is a generic software, so it does not know your components.
It takes some time to setup but you cant beat the end result.
