Considering downgrading for cash

Money is tight, and I'm considering selling my sig rig on Craigslist for $750-850. It's kind of more than I need; I could get similar results from a lower specced machine. And I could use $250+ at the moment. So I'm considering doing a downgrade.

What do y'all think of this?

Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H Open Box

$90.99

AMD Phenom II x3 720BE OEM

$104.99

Xigmatek Nepartak
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233026
$30.49

G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 CL9
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-277-_-Product
$93.99

PowerColor Radeon HD 4850 512MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-162-_-Product
$99.99

SeaSonic S12II 430W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-074-_-Product
$61.99

Lite-On 24x DVD burner
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-334-_-Product
$29.99

TOTAL:
$512.43

Reusing my WD 500GB and an Antec NSK6580 case I have lying around. Look like a solid build that should still play well at my resolution (1440x900)?

Get a better power supply. At least a Corsair or cheap OCZ.

I take you're keeping one of the HDDs in your current rig?

SeaSonic makes Corsair's power supplies. That's probably one of the better 430W units out there.

I'm going to be keeping the 500GB (with my Windows install and everything else), the 320GB would go with the sale.

Doh!

I say go for it... It should play just fine at that resolution.

Good news is I won't have to. We went over the numbers and it isn't that desperate. Gonna be tight for a month or so, but then we get our tax return and a cost of living adjustment, so no sense in downgrading the computer. However, I may do something similar when I move back to Cincinnati.

Thanks for the input though.

Everything looks good but keep in mind to shop around....Newegg generally doesn't have the best prices all the time.

Might as well keep the 4870 because you're only going to be able to sell it for the same amount as that new 4850.
