well... yeah, but the main compatability issue will be bt/wn the memory and the mobo. As long as your RAM is compatable w/ your mobo it will work.

note: at default speeds RAM that is faster than PC3200 will be underclocked. the main advantage to having faster RAM is that it gives you more overhead for overclocking. DDR500 RAM will allow you to raise your htt to 250Mhz before your RAM will be overclocked.

If you use a divider for your RAM, let's say HTT is 250 on a 3200+, and RAM is DDR400. You use a 1.66 divider. RAM would come out to be 207, correct?

My computer uses a 1:1 FSBRAM ratio, according to CPU-Z. I was told that the typical setting is 2:2. That's essentially the same though, right? So what would be the difference?

Also, someone else showed me their CPU-Z. It said comething like CPU/18. What does that mean?

It'll just give you more headroom for a higher HT.
