If you up the volts on it, it may let you overclock further. However, this will create extra heat and could damage your card. If you do want to try it, I wouldn't recommend it without good aftermarket cooling or watercooling, preferably.

I would leave it at default voltage to be safe unless you have some serious after market cooling then maybe go for it

your safe to up the voltage in bios to the max allowed and it wont change your temps on the card, i may be wrong on some of this so correct me please

your bios on your vid card is what sets the voltage that your vid card uses, it has a few different values for voltage and that is the max that it will use

now take for example when i volt modded my old 6800gt, i changed the voltage (3d) from the stock of 1.3v to 1.4v (6800ultra voltage)

now this allowed me to run the same speed as an ultra 400/1100 but this did raise temps a few degrees c, ok now that the bios is saying that it neeeds the higher voltage i needed to raise the voltage in my computers bios to give it more juice- i forgot what the actual settings were but i had to use the middle one to supply the juice for my modded bios

i then modded it to 1.6v to try and get it higher and it kept crashing on me so i went in and raised the mobo bios voltage again and then it work, however with that increase in voltage i only got an extra 10mhz core and 20 mhz ram and it was kind of glitchy so i went back down to the 1.4v whcih performs like a dream

what im trying to say if this confused anyone is that the bios supplied in the mobo isnt going to hurt anything because your vid card will still only use the voltage that its bios tells it to use

MADMAX22 is correct,

Bumping up the AGP voltage in the BIOS will not gain you any more of a overclock on your GPU and memory. The option is there just incase a future AGP graphics card needed more than 1.5V default. If your system wasnt supplying the standard of 1.5V or the motherboard was undervolting thats when you would bump it up. Messing with the AGP voltage in the BIOS is not a V-mod.
